Meena, Masa and Grace are matched through Strong Women Strong Girls, a Pittsburgh and Boston-based nonprofit organization championing the next generation of female leaders through innovative, multi-generational mentoring programs.

 

"Masa is one of the most extroverted mentees we have, and at the beginning of the session she always comes up and gives my fellow mentor Meena and I a hug. Weekly, we do roses and thorns where we share what the good and hard things have been in our week. When we do roses and thorns, she's always the first to share. She's not afraid to ask for help or give help to the other girls if they need it. Sometimes, she helps us get everyone else to calm down and take their seats when we need to transition activities."
