Social Capital Training for Educators
This 90-minute virtual training is designed for school staff to introduce them to the concept of social capital and ways in which they can support young people in growing and tapping into their networks.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Define social capital
- Describe how relationships provide resources
- Reflect on the importance of social capital
- Identify at least 3 ways they can help students build social capital
This session will take place via Zoom. Space is limited. You must be registered to attend. The registration link will be emailed a few days before the session. Registration will close 2 days prior to the scheduled session. Trainings may be canceled if there are insufficient registrants.
