Nominations Open for the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2024 All-Peer Team

Published

Strong relationships are important for everyone, but especially for young people.  Student athletes have a unique opportunity to support their peers to help them learn and grow -- on and off the field!

TMP is teaming up with The Pittsburgh Steelers and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to build the third annual Steelers All-Peer Team. The Team will feature 11 high school football players from around the region who go above and beyond to provide mentor-like support to their teammates and other peers. Winners will participate in a discussion with Steelers players and will celebrate during an on-field ceremony at a Steelers home game this upcoming season. Winning players will also receive a $1,000 donation to their school's athletic program.

Players must be nominated by their coach, principal or athletic director.  Click here to nominate one or more student athletes!  One player will be chosen each week over the course of 11 weeks during the regular season to assemble the Steelers All-Peer Team.  Nominations only need to be submitted once to be considered over the course of the 11-week entry period.

Eligibility:  Please note, to be considered for the Steelers All-Peer Team, nominees must play for a school within the WPIAL or City League (Districts 7 and 8 in PIAA).  Nominees must be nominated by their school’s head football coach, athletic director or principal.  Nominations not meeting these criteria are not eligible.
