Introduction to TMP Services & Elements of Effective Practice
Wednesday, June 19, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
This 1-hour informational session is intended to introduce mentoring programs to the technical assistance, training, and networking services provided by The Mentoring Partnership. The foundation of our services is based on the six Elements of Effective Practice, a collection of research-informed practices for youth mentoring programs, and you will learn those elements as part of this session. Attending this training is also the first step in the Quality Coaching process. Sessions are currently being done virtually. You must be registered to attend. Registration will close 2 days before the scheduled session. Click here to register!

Your Feedback Will Help to Shape the Future of TMP's Services
TMP is thrilled to be collaborating with Carnegie Mellon University's Masters of Human-Computer Interaction program to evaluate the quality and impact of services we provide to local mentoring programs, mentors and mentees. Our CMU research team is looking to test concept designs of supportive technology for TMP's network of mentoring programs. We invite you to join our testing sessions now running through June 3. Each session lasts approximately one hour and will be conducted over Zoom. Participants will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card. If you're interested in contributing, please complete this brief survey. Our CMU team will follow up with next steps after your submission.

Save the Date: 2024 IMHOTEP Scholarship and Mentoring Golf Classic
Monday, August 5, 7:00 a.m.
For the past 27 years, the 100 Black Men of Western Pennsylvania have sponsored the IMHOTEP Mentorship and Scholarship Golf Classic to fund their Mentoring and Student Scholarship programs. These programs help prepare disadvantaged African American youth in the Greater Pittsburgh area for post-secondary education and becoming productive citizens. Proceeds from the annual golf outing are the major source of funding, providing both mentorship and scholarships for graduating high school seniors and current college students.
