CORE Power Hour
"How do you feel?"
Take a deep breath. Now, let me ask again - "How do you feel?"
In times of constant change and the growing demand to show up meanigfully for our youth and communities, it's more important than ever to care out time for ourselves and each other.
Community matters. Connection matters. And you've told us - loud and clear - that you need space to simply connect. That's why CORE is excited to introduce Power Hour - launching in June 2025.
This bi-monthly gathering will be a space led by a member of CORE's team, created just for you - to pause, reflect, share, and grow. Sometimes we'll engage in open conversation. Other times, we'll dive into topics that nurture both personal and collective development.
To kick things off, we invite you to explore the YWCA's Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge - a 20-day, self-paced journey designed to deepen understanding and spark meaningful dialogue. As part of Power Hour, we'll hold space to discuss the weekly themes and share insights from the challenge together.
Let's invest in our own growth, and in each other. We look forward to building this community with you - one hour at a time.
This session will take place via Zoom. Space is limited. You must be registered to attend. The registration link will be emailed a few days before the session. Registration will close 2 days prior to the scheduled session. Trainings may be canceled if there are insufficient registrants.
