World Mental Health Day

Let's Do This

Every year, October 10th is recognized as World Mental Health Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health, and one of the most effective ways to do so is by talking about it. That's why we’re encouraging all caring adults to use this day as an opportunity to start (or continue!) a conversation with the young people in their lives about mental health.

As part of these discussions, it's important to talk about how young people can support their own mental well-being. Download our Mental Health Safety Plan template to get the conversation started around what good mental health feels like to them. Most importantly, let the youth in your life know that mental health isn’t a once-a-year topic -- it can and should be talked about all the time!
