Self-Care for Young People
By now, many of us are realizing the importance of taking time to unwind and refresh and are hopefully able to include some time for that in our own schedules. Young people need this time, too! Just like adults, they experience stress and fatigue, especially in challenging situations. So encourage children to do activities that help them recharge both physically and mentally. Some examples of activities they might enjoy include: listening to music, spending time with friends (socially distancing, of course!), taking a walk outside, stretching or watching their favorite show.
