Make a Summertime Activity List

Let's Do This

Summer break is almost over and maybe you’ve heard the expression “I'm bored” or “There's nothing to do” from your young people. Give them the challenge of coming up with something to do for the remainder of summer. Ask if there is anything they’re really set on doing this summer. For example, maybe they were really looking forward to going to a museum or having a picnic. Whatever it might be, let your youth take the reins and see if they can come up with an activity list for the rest of summer. Not only will this keep their minds busy, but it’ll also keep any summertime boredom at bay!

Stay Inspired

To help get your young people started, share this list with them:

  • Fly a kite
  • Watch the sunset
  • Play in the rain
  • Catch fireflies
