Celebrating Women's History Month
Lets do This
March is Women’s History Month, a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society. Start the conversation with youth by asking them to share more about women they look up to and admire. It could be anyone – a mother, teacher, coach or even a historical figure!
No matter who they look up to, help them take their appreciation and celebration to the next level:
- Read a book to learn about an inspiring woman - check out this list of 32 inspiring books for Women's History Month
- Take a virtual field trip to the National Women's History Museum
- Test your knowledge by asking yourself Women's History trivia questions
- Watch a documentary about the pivotal points in history where women played a part
- Send a thank you note to the great women in your life - consider using one of the encouragement cards that we designed with Fred Rogers Productions!
