TMP Program Spotlight: Strong Women Strong Girls

Strong Women Strong Girls' multi-generational mentoring model helps empower women and girls throughout the Pittsburgh area. Research shows that having a mentor can make a big difference in a young girl’s life and 1 in 3 girls in our area doesn't have access to a strong female mentor.

SWSG is working to change that. With more than 40 program sites around the city, 6 college chapters, and more than 250 college mentors, they help to inspire and empower hundreds of young girls. In 2017, they provided mentorship for more than 700 girls.
