Tuesday, June 13th, 5:30-8 p.m.
The Rivers Club Ballroom
One Oxford Centre
301 Grant Street
Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Calling all young professionals serving on a nonprofit board or committee -- if you're looking for a way to maximize the impact you have on the organization you serve and to network with young professionals of other nonprofits across the region, then you won't want to miss this event!
Join The Mentoring Partnership and Daniel Horgan, Founder and CEO of D.G. Horgan Group / Community Impact Academy, for an interactive workshop that will help you advance both your personal career and your ability to make a lasting impact on organizations you volunteer with. We'll cover a variety of topics, including:
Personal Growth: Examine your personal brand in an effort to gain greater self-awareness and enhance the foundation on which you can build, manage and sustain relationships. Learn how to accelerate your personal and professional growth, maximize your authenticity and align your day-to-day life with your passion and purpose.
Networking: With greater self-awareness as the foundation, you’ll focus on enhancing interpersonal skills to foster and sustain relationships as the groundwork for high-performing teams at work and in the community.
Influence: Plan for and navigate change by strengthening your ability to adapt, critically think and problem solve effectively. From the boardroom to the front line, you’ll learn how to apply creativity and innovation when inspiring, addressing and driving change.
After this interactive workshop, stick around for cocktails, food and plenty of networking! We're excited to convene representatives from nonprofit young professional groups across the region and hope that you'll join us for this first-of-its-kind event.
